Qari Fateh Muhammad Panipati
Alhamdulillahi wa kafa wa salamun ala ibadillahillazi nastafa! I spent three weeks at the madrasah and time and again listened to different qirats from the students of Qirat-e-Saba. I also heard the recitals of the Holy Quran from the students learning Hifz-e-Quran. Alhamdulillah, I was very happy to see their performances. The madrasah is performing well. One is really satisfied with the way it functions. It is my sincere prayer that Allah T'ala always protects this madrasah from any internal or external problems, grant it more and more success and progress, and make its roots stronger. Amen Ya Rabbul A’lameen!
Hazrat Qari Sahib's management of the madrasah is perfect and commendable in every respect. Due attention is being paid on imparting religious education to the students. One specialty of this madrasah is that Hazrat Qari Sahib employs most of the alumni of the madrasah only. This helps because they are already aware of the system of the madrasah. I pray that Allah T’ala grant sound health and vigour to all of them so that they continue their efforts and impart their duties with sincerity. Amen ya Rabbul A’lameen, Bijahi sayyedil mursaleen, Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam! Further, may Allah T’ala reward them with His numerous and choicest bounties in both the worlds. Qari Ibn Ziya Muhibuddin Allahabadi
Alhamdulillahi wa sallallahu ala Nabiyyihi wa Mustufahu! After a long wait and an intense wish, I was invited to the Madrasah Tajweedul Quran as an examiner. I was greatly impressed by the functioning and academic pursuits of the madrasah. As desired by Hazrat Qari Muhammad Suleman Sahib, I stayed at the madrasah for two days on 21-22 Sha'ban, 1403 AH. During the stay, Qari Sahib and his students provided me every possible comfort. I was known to Qari Sahib for a long time, but this was my first visit to the madrasah. I examined the students of Qirat. I examined them jointly as well as individually and asked them to recite from various difficult points. I asked them numerous difficult questions but they replied comfortably with reference to the couplet quoted from "Shatbi". Masha Allah, the Quran is preserved in the hearts of these students and I congratulate Hazrat Qari Sahib for his efforts and patronage.
Qari Abdullah Saleem
As in the past, this year too I was invited as an examiner to Madrasah Tajweedul Quran by its patron and Director Hazrat Qari Mohammed. Suleman Sahib on 21-22 Shaban, 1401 AH. As for the academic achievements and excellence of the madrasah, I have already written earlier. Although Qari Sahib invites me to examine the students, my own desire is to undergo a learning process in the light of the expanse of expertise that I see among the students here. The experience is an eye-opener for me. It is, indeed, a miracle that these students preserve the words of Khudawand Quddoos in the shape of 6666 ayats, in a way that they can recite from any ayat, any para, surah, rukuh, with perfect tarteel and tajweed, and also in accordance with all the traditions of recital under Qirat-e-Saba. I would like to mention that because of these specific qualities, this madrasah remains a model for other madrasahs. Qari Sahib, who is the very soul of this madrasah, has become physically weak and frail but the madrasah functions with eternal energy; the time of those who are engaged in academic pursuit and the finances of those who invest for a pious cause, are being used in the right direction. The propagators of democracy should pay a visit to this madrasahs and see for themselves, how the art of consultative decision-making–--Shura---is successfully implemented within the administrative processes. Finally, I pray for the well being of Hazrat Qari Sahib, the faculty, the students and administrators and wish that Almighty Allah bestows a special place for them on earth and beyond. Late Mufti Ateequr Rahman Usmani
Words fall short in describing tremendous services of Madrasah Tajweedul Qur’an. As a gesture of acknowledgement, I write the following few lines. Time and again, I have been saying that this madrasah is unique in itself. The provision of teaching Hifz-e-Quran, Tajweed, Qirat, Qirat-e-Saba is the best I have seen. The patron of the madrasah, Alhaj Maulana Qari Muhammad Suleman Sahib (dama majdahum), is a man with extraordinary qualities. It is because of his presence that the madrasah has assumed the qualities and uniqueness that the Maulana upholds. Despite my illness this year, I got an opportunity to visit the madrasah along with some friends. It was an honour to have examined the senior students and I was really happy. Although examinations are taken by experts of the field, who visit as external examiners, I asked a few questions on my own accord. The replies that I got were very impressive and satisfying. The students of Qirat-e-Saba have not only learnt by heart couplets from a difficult book like Shaatbi, but can also describe the meanings of such couplets in Urdu. This shows the amount of labour and the degree of respectability Qari Sahib has instilled into his students and into the running of this institution.
Presently, there are more than 200 students, whose food and lodging expenses are borne by the madrasah. Muslim Ummah and pious people in the community donate money to the madrasah as Zakat. I feel this money could not have been donated for a better cause. In the present times of high costs and inflation, it is, indeed, difficult for an organization with meager economics resources to cope with the huge expenses that is incurred on running an institution like this. In view of this, I appeal to one and all to donate as much as they can. An Institution like this cannot be built overnight. A lot of hard work and selfless dedication goes into it.
Late Sayeed Ahmed Akbarabadi
Madrasah Tajweedul Qur'an is an old and famous institution. There are no other institution like this one in the vicinity, rendering such extraordinary services to the cause of the Quran. The founder and Director of the madrasah is Qari Muhammad Suleman Sahib who is not only a celebrated figure in the field of Hifz and Tajweed but also an able administrator. He is an epitome of humanity and devotion. He is devoted to the Quran and has dedicated his entire life to it. It is as a result of Qari Sahib's unrelenting efforts that today the madrasah has several hundred students of Hifz-e-Quran and Tajweed on its rolls. The teachers who are engaged in imparting lessons to these students are experts in the field concerned. The arrangement of boarding and lodging for the students is, indeed, praiseworthy. My humble self has had numerous opportunities of visiting the madrasah.
Indeed, every visit has added to my happiness. The last time I visited the madrasah was in March 1982 in the company of Maulana Aftab Ahmed Muzahir Madni. It was my desire to examine the younger students reciting the Quran at random. I was happy to see their performance. One can easily conclude that the madrasah is steadily moving ahead on the path to progress. What can be a better reward for the affection and religious inclination of Qari Sahib than the fact that Allah Tala' has chosen him to serve the Holy Quran. May Allah T’ala reward all those who are making some kinds of contribution towards helping the madrasah. Aameen Ya Rabbal A’lameen!
